CSR Pendant Street Lights Project for Community Roads in Nilai, Malaysia

In 2022, ZGSM completed a CSR-based pendant street Lights project in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. The project aimed to improve nighttime visibility and road safety for residents traveling between a residential community and a nearby shopping mall.

During the initial engagement phase, ZGSM held numerous discussions with the client regarding project specifics. After reviewing the parameters of the existing light poles, ZGSM recommended the L-Series LED pendant street lights. Utilizing traditional installation methods—such as side-entry wiring or pole-top mounting—would have necessitated extensive modifications to the existing poles, a solution the client deemed unacceptable. Based on the number and width of the traffic lanes at the site, we implemented a circular lighting layout featuring fixtures on both sides of the roadway, with two light heads mounted on each side of a single pole (effectively four lights per pole). A well-planned street lighting layout design is essential for achieving balanced illumination and better visibility in community road lighting projects.

This configuration ensures comprehensive coverage of the road surface, eliminates blind spots, and significantly enhances the uniformity of illumination across the entire roadway. Given that this specific lighting scheme requires twice the number of fixtures compared to conventional installation methods, the client ultimately selected the ZGSM-LD56LMB model to minimize unnecessary energy consumption.

After installation and commissioning, the road environment was noticeably improved. The upgraded Pendant Mounted Street Light solution not only enhanced travel safety but also gave the roadway a cleaner and more modern appearance at night.
