Industrial Warehouse Lighting Solution for Indoor Factory & Logistics Area in Ecuador

This industrial warehouse lighting ( How to choose the right LED light for warehouse lighting? ) project is located in an indoor factory warehouse and logistics area （ DALI Dimming in Indoor and Outdoor Lighting Systems ） in Ecuador, with a total lighting area of approximately 550 m². The warehouse features a height of around 11 meters on both sides and 12.5 meters in the central area. The overall dimensions are 30 m × 18 m, and the storage racks reach a height of approximately 7 meters. After detailed discussions with the client, an average illuminance level of 300 lux was specified for the working areas, ensuring the industrial warehouse lighting system met the daily operational requirements of warehouse and logistics activities.

At the initial stage of the project, a conventional industrial warehouse lighting solution using ZGSM-HB11 /ZGSM- HB12 UFO high bay was proposed. However, after further evaluation of the on-site conditions, it was identified that the tall and densely arranged storage racks, combined with a high mounting height, could cause partial light obstruction when using traditional optical solutions, thereby affecting overall lighting uniformity.

In response to this challenge, the ZGSM technical team carried out multiple lighting simulations and solution assessments, comparing different luminaire types, optical distributions, and installation methods. Ultimately, while balancing lighting performance and aesthetic design, the client selected the ZGSM-ST20HB-150 high bay lighting solution as the final industrial warehouse lighting ( Commercial Lighting Control for Warehouse Lighting ) system. The luminaires feature a 5000K color temperature and a combined optical configuration (6 units with 120° distribution + 15 units with T2S optics), which effectively improved overall illuminance and uniformity across the warehouse area, while also meeting the client’s expectations for a modern industrial appearance.

During the installation process, the client shared on-site installation photos with us. Further communication revealed that some luminaires were not initially installed in full accordance with the lighting simulation in terms of positioning and aiming angles, resulting in suboptimal lighting performance. ZGSM promptly provided professional recommendations for adjusting luminaire positions and aiming angles. After the client implemented these adjustments, the overall lighting effect was significantly improved, with both illuminance and uniformity meeting the design targets.

After upgrading to the ZGSM high bay lighting solution, the warehouse and logistics area became brighter and more organized, with clear visibility around the storage racks. The optimized lighting layout and stable light output have effectively enhanced operational safety and working efficiency, providing reliable lighting support for daily factory operations.
