This project is located in the bustling Bandar Jasin Bestari commercial shoplot area in Malacca, Malaysia. Before the project kicked off, the client’s biggest concern was the poor illumination provided by the existing commercial parking lot lights. Due to heavy nocturnal vehicle and pedestrian traffic, the old street lights suffered from severe light decay and left behind numerous dark spots. This not only posed traffic safety hazards such as vehicle scrapes, but also presented security challenges for the commercial district. In addition, the client was worried that new fixtures might fail local official compliance approvals, leading to project delivery delays.

After conducting a detailed site evaluation of the driveway and parking space layouts, ZGSM recommended the classic, highly efficient K-Series LED Street Light (Model: ZGSM-LD120KM) paired with Type II and Type III light distribution lenses as the ideal choice for their commercial parking lot lights. Type II Lens: Perfectly covers narrower roads and roadside parking spaces. Type III Lens: Ideal for two-lane roads flanked by parking slots on both sides, ensuring light is directed efficiently to illuminate driving lanes and parking spaces evenly.
