Series H street light fitting in Petron merchant square


The project is located at the Petron Sendayan Merchant Square gas station. The client considers improving visibility in the area crucial as it can reduce accidents and minimize their impact on the gas station. ZGSM selected 100W street light fittings for the surrounding area of the gas station, replacing the existing 100W fixtures, to enhance illuminance and ensure safety. Additionally, the client expressed a desire to replace their gas station lights, and ZGSM promptly recommended ATEX gas station lights. Currently, both the street lights and gas station lights in the area are operating normally. The client provided feedback that these lights are much more energy-efficient than the previous ones, and they believe that these lights offer both safety and value. They consider safety to be the primary consideration before economic benefits.

The equivalent of ATEX in the United States is the NEC 500 standards and NEC 505 standard. NEC 500 standards primarily apply to North America (United States and Canada).
